Some days things work out and others, well, we just let it go… thanks to Zelda, Beefcake and Kodi for the photo assist! I was trying to get some pics of a tshirt I made and they decided to open the patio door and help out. I made the raven themed “practice kindness” design to remind myself that it is always best to be kind first, especially now when the world feels so chaotic and lonely. It was my birthday Friday… hard to believe I turned 49… what a crazy ride it’s been. As terrifying as it is, I am so excited to start a new life in Los Angeles… I’ve been working on so much new art and am planning to jump back into tattooing soon. We spent an afternoon @hospital.of.emotions in downtown L.A. - so many amazing installations… pictures are a few of my favorites. I loved the use of natural foraged elements in the installation in the second photo, it smelled of a day spent wandering the woods… like a Ryden painting brought to life. The vortex vibes of the third photo really resonated with me, maybe it was that sense of loss and inevitability that comes with getting another year older that vibed with the art.
